Daffodil Pendant
The daffodil rests beneath the winter soil before rising again when the light and time are right. This pendant finds it emerging through a drift of diamond snow, tilting toward the sun in a softly shifting blue enamel sky. A symbol of hope and the grace of right timing.
- 18k yellow gold with a brushed satin finish. White diamonds (VS-FG, .10 carats total). Peach/orange sapphire at center of daffodil (.015 carats)
- Vitreous Enamel.
- Pendant (including bail) is approximately 25mm long. (Medallion alone is 19mm).

Craft & Technique:Each piece is hand-enameled using the champlevé technique — a traditional kiln-fired process in which glass enamel powder is carefully layered onto gold and fired multiple times, gradually building depth to achieve nuanced gradients and rich color. The surface is then filed and polished smooth. Slight variations in the enamel mean every piece is truly one of a kind.
PRODUCTION TIME:
With the exception of a few Ready To Ship pieces, most items are made to order just for you. Expect around 3-8 weeks for delivery unless otherwise noted for made to order items. Please contact studio@gwenbarba.com if you have a specific "needed by date".
We will let you know when your item is finished and provide a tracking number when it ships.
Ready To Ship items go out within 3 business days of order placement. Shipping usually takes 2-3 days. If you have a needed by date, please get in touch.
SHIPPING:
We use UPS and Fedex. Your package will have a tracking number and be insured.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship to PO Boxes and will require a signature for delivery for most items.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
We are happy to ship internationally, but currently only offer shipping of website orders to the US and Canada. Please get in touch if you are located outside of the US and Canada to arrange shipping. Custom Duties and Fees are the responsibility of the customer.
LOST PACKAGES:
If your package is lost, we will do everything possible to help locate it. However, we cannot be held responsible for any lost packages after a proof of delivery has been generated by the carrier.
SHIPPING DELAYS:
We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to shipping vendor, weather or other events outside of our control.
STANDARD RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
To request a return or exchange, please email studio@gwenbarba.com with your name and order number to begin the process within 5 business days of item receipt. Return instructions and shipping label will be provided at that point. Any items returned without contacting us first will not be accepted.
- Ready-to-Ship Items: Returns are accepted. A $40 return shipping & insurance fee ensures safe handling.
- Made-to-Order Items: Exchanges or store credit only. A $40 return shipping & insurance fee ensures safe handling.
- Custom/Bespoke Orders: Custom or bespoke orders, including pieces with custom enamel colors and engraving are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Any items marked “Final Sale” in the product description are also non-returnable.
- International Orders: International Orders (Orders shipped outside of the US) are Final Sale.

We cannot accept any items that are not in pristine condition with original packaging.

Canceled ready-to-ship and made-to order items will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Custom/Bespoke items are final sale.

Before purchasing, if you have questions about sizing, measurements, enamel colors or anything at all that could potentially inform your purchase and reduce the possibility of a return or exchange, contact us and we will do our best to guide you. Sizers specific to a particular ring design can be sent to you to try before your ring enters production, (currently limited to customers in the US).
